Ferrari chooses the 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed to unveil the FF

The Ferrari FF will make its first UK public appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in late June. The FF, Maranello’s new flagship GT, showcases a number of firsts for the Prancing Horse. A four-seater, front-engined V12 with a controversial shooting-brake profile, it boasts Ferrari’s first four-wheel drive system, patented as 4RM and claimed to be 50% lighter than conventional systems.
Also putting in an appearance at Goodwood will be a 458 Italia, and a California. In addition to contemporary road-going cars, Ferrari’s racing heritage will be in evidence, with several privately-owned cars on display in the Cathedral Paddock (full details below). Providing further camera-fodder for the British Tifosi, Scuderia Ferrari will be demonstrating their 2009 F1 car, with Marc Gené at the wheel.
